Cannot Access Leave Module

Postby rossdav » Tue Feb 08, 2011 9:58 pm

I just installed 2.6.1 this afternnon to evaluate the software.

Adding some experimental data, all seems fine until i clicked on the menu item 'Leave'. All I get is "Internal Error Occured" in a big red font.

No other error message so nothing to go on at all. Everything else appears to be functioning.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

David.

Hi there,

We have exactly the same issue on 2.6.1 install on CentOS, everything else appears fine, just the Leave Module

php error is logged as Configuration "config/databases.yml" does not exist or is unreadable

Cheers

Just to update, got this working, had to give full rights to the symfony/config directory and re-install, however has led onto another issue, now it asks me to set the start date of leave, which i can select month, but not date... any ideas

Cheers

Hi All,

(In Windows )Set path for the PHP folder.
Delete .htaccess file inside OrangeHRM/symfony/web and go to OrangeHRM/symfony dir and run this using command line "php symfony cc".

Hi All,

I tried the suggestions above but still, the problem persists. Looks like it is trying to authenticate again but keeps looping.

I'm using Windows 2008r2 with PHP5.3.5

Any other way to resolve it?

Hi,
These all waste processes and the problem will not resolve in this way.
Just do one thing.
Give the 777 permissions to the orangehrm folder and do the installation again as you have done as previously. Now the installation will successfully complete and the problem also resolve. After that give the 755 permissions to the orangehrm folder. Because 777 is not a secured way.
