Debugging in OrangeHRM

Postby szaka » Fri May 06, 2011 10:23 pm

Hi there,

1- How do you turn ON debugging in OrangeHRM? Is there a way to show error messages for debugging?

2- MS SQL Server has SQL Profiler to show the activity at the database level. Is there anything in MySQL to show the tracing and log of SQL statements being executed in a database?

I added one new field "Job Title 2" (for secondary job title) in Employee -> Job interface. I tracked all the variables and text fields for "Job Title" and added variables for the new field. I added new field in the database table. Now, when I save the job information page, it shows nothing. I want to see whats happening at the database side? Is there a way to debug the issue or find out the warnings/errors on the database side. (I was able to add the field text box in the GUI PHP file but I am not able to save it to the database.)

Thanks very much for your help!
