admin can't assign over quota

Hi. I'm using 2.6.

We have leave types with no set quota attached (jury duty). A full admin can assign leave time to an employee for this leave type and in a leave summary it will simply display a negative remaining number of days left, which is exactly what we want.

I have set up a user with all rights in the leave module. She is able to assign leave time for jury duty, but it is not reflected in the leave summary. In other words, unless a user is a full admin, s/he cannot truly assign leave time unless there is a quota attached, even though the system let's that user go through the process and it seems like the activity has been carried out.

Is this intentional? Seems pretty buggy to me.

This seems to be a defect. Should be fixed in a future release.
