Hi tkas.
I am testing the OrangeHRM software right now, to see if it can fit in the demands of our business, in terms of not only human resources, but also tasks assignment mmanagement.
If it is OK and we use it, it will be interesting to translate it.

Greek Language is very easy language so you can try to learn that language and then you can try to translate that language. If then you have any problem then you can use language translation services for same.

Hello,

I'm interesting to help. I already have started to translate the file: "lang_default_full" of 2.6.12.1 version in Greek. If you could send me more details it will be helpful.

Thank you in advance

Hi,

Thank you very much for your interest in OrangeHRM. We will be implementing an automated tool which will allow users to do online language translations at ease. The language packs created from this tool will be compatible with OrangeHRM 2.7 and above.
Our next release, is OrangeHRM 2.7 and this version will be released towards the end of February 2012. Therefore, it would be best for you to do the translations for this release. However, you may use some of the translations you have done so far on 2.6.12.1 and replace them with 2.7

I will update you on this in the near future.

In 2.6.12.1, except Benefits module, all other modules have been coded using Symfony framework. Therefore they use Symfony internationalization mechanism. You can get details on how to do the conversion manually from following article.

https://wiki.orangehrm.com/index.php/Ho ... mfony_Code

However in 2.6.12.1, not all the screens fully supported internationalization. Therefore there going to be a release candidate as 2.7-rc.1 which supports internationalization for all the screens except Benefits module. With 2.7 release candidate there will be a tool to do translations easily. Check OrangeHRM blog (http://blog.orangehrm.com/) for more details. 2.7-rc.1 will go out by end of February.

Converting "lang_default_full" will help you to translate Benefits module. But for all other modules, translations should be done in Symfony way as mentioned in above article.
