mysql access denied error

First time im running orange hrm and im getting this error? pl. help.

* PHP : 5.2.4
* MySQL Client : 5.0.45
* Memory limit : 32M
* Maximum session lifetime : 1440

The error was logged in the OrangeHRM log located in C:\Program Files\OrangeHRM\2.2.2.2\htdocs\orangehrm-2.2.2.2/lib/logs/logDB.txt

Hi maharajg,

The password saved to access Mysql server is wrong. You can edit the configuration file lib/confs/Conf.php and edit the line which says

$this->dbpass = 'xxxxxx';

replace the xxxxxx with the correct password for root in Mysql. Then try accessing orangehrm. This should let you in without the previous error.
