orangehrm-2.6.2 Login

I have completed a manual installation of orangehrm-2.6.2 using xampp. But when i try to login using URL: http://localhost/orangehrm/logn.php, i get the following response making stuck: {Warning: require_once(C:\xampp\htdocs\orangehrm/lib/confs/Conf.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\orangehrm\lib\models\eimadmin\EmployStat.php on line 20

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\xampp\htdocs\orangehrm/lib/confs/Conf.php' (include_path='.;C:\xampp\php\PEAR') in C:\xampp\htdocs\orangehrm\lib\models\eimadmin\EmployStat.php on line 20}

Try renaming Conf.php-distribution as Conf.php in lib/confs. Seems to have solved this problem for me. Don't know if it has created other problems

Everything worked fine after I installed php5-mysql

Sid, you are a genius! Your solution worked like magic. But I now have a challenge with login! The server cannot be found and I notice from my XAMMP control panel that MYSQL is deactivated. How do I activate it?
