Version 2.6.12 User Types

Hi All,
I just upgraded my company's OrangeHRM to version 2.6.12 and I do not see any options under 'Admin > Users' to configure 'User Types' like previous versions. Any ideas?

Hi anyonelah,
there was no menu called User Types in 2.6.12. i think you refer the 'HR Admin Users', 'ESS Users' and 'Admin User Groups'.
in 2.7, all these user types can add by the users menu -> add button. can select user type in that form.

Hi Chameera,
Yes, the 'Users' menu does not seem to have sub-menus like previous versions and I am not upgrading to 2.7 just yet as it is in Beta stage.
Strange that a stable release does not have the ability to add new 'User Types' like 'HR Admin' and so on.

Hi anyonelah,
In early releases, it has the 'Admin User Groups" menu, that has been removed from 2.7.
Other than that, all other things are the same, even though "Users" does not contains sub menus.
OrangeHRM still not supporting "User Types" defining by the end users. Even early versions.

So how can we create different level of "Admin users" with different rights now?

Same question. I want my managers to be able and create their own projects but not have access to other administrative features.
