Hello, is there an installer available for Mac? I can't seem to find it anywhere. THanks in advance.

Currently, OrangeHRM Open Source don't have Mac installer. But you can install OrangeHRM on LAMP stack. You need to download release (ZIP file) from https://sourceforge.net/projects/orangehrm/files/latest/download and follow https://github.com/orangehrm/orangehrm/wiki/Installation-Guide-(Web)#installation.

I did not change ownership as suggested in the video, I just logged in with my normal root login and password, that has privileges for all.

I did not have to CREATE DATABASE as it is created during installation.

Installed easily.
