Project unavailable

Post by PePe30 » Mon Jul 09, 2018 2:05 pm

Hi

I'm testing OrangeHrm (4.1) on an Ubuntu server (16.04)
After solving a small trouble in the config file (locahost address doesn't work but 127.0.0.1 ip address is fine), I was making some tests.
I'm facing one error in the creation of project.
Each time I'm trying to use the add button, it seems to be frozen (mouse activity shows that it's running) but I can't create a projet (even if a customer is already created). I can't select an admin project.

At the end, I can't logout. The only way is to click onto another function and everything is coming back properly.

Do I have to review user rights on specific tables of the database ?

Best regards
Pepe

Thank you for your interest in OrangeHRM,

This can be an issue with the JAVA script or as a workaround please try to use an admin account which is bond to an employee instead of using the default admin user account.

Thank you

Hi Bennett

Thanks for your reply.
I tried to apply your recommandation (new admin user linked to an employee) without success.
So, I've made other test to confirm your remark about java as below :

W7 Pro 32bits - Firefox Quantum 61.0.1 32Bits Negative
W7 Pro 64bits - Firefox Quantum 61.0.1 64Bits Negative
W7 Pro 64bits - Chrome 67.0.3396.99 64Bits Negative
W7 Pro 64bits - Opera 54.0.2952.54 64Bits Negative
W10 Pro 64Bits - Firefox Quantum 61.0.1 64Bits Negative
Ws2016 64Bits - IE 11 11.2339.14393.0 64Bits Negative
Ws2016 64Bits - Chrome 67.0.3396.99 64Bits Negative
Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64Bits - Firefox 61.0 64Bits Negative
Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64Bits - Chromium 66.0.3359.181 Succesful :)

Orangehrm is hosted on a VM (Ubuntu Server 16.04 64bits).
I'm a little bit confuse about java. Why is it working with Chromium and not Firefox on the same platform ?

I'm following my test and I will advise you.

Cheers
PePe
